Doll: Mollie Raushart won this wax doll in 1883 in a contest sponsored by the Washington Volunteer Fire Company of Delphos, Ohio. The contest was held to raise funds for a new steam engine. Kate Eysenbach, a Delphos milliner, made the doll’s silk dress. The doll’s hair is natural. What materials are dolls made out of today?
