Quilt. Hand made quilts are more than warm blankets for a bed. Many are works of art that express the creativity and talent of the maker (or makers). Throughout history, quilts have utilized patterns, designs, and symmetry bringing beauty into the homes of people all over the world. Many quilts tell stories by incorporating unique elements, dates, names, and other information. Some quilts are tied and others are stitched.
