The Allen County Museum and Historical Society is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization and relies heavily on donations for its programming and operations. There are many ways that you can support the Museum. You can make a general donation in any amount or you can become a member of the Museum.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
Memorial Gifts ~ Contributions made in memory of a loved one.
Honoriums ~ Contributions made in honor of someone living.
Tribute Gifts ~ Make a traditional gift giving holiday particularly meaningful (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, wedding anniversaries or other occasions) with a gift to the Allen County Museum.
Matching Gifts ~ Your gift will have an even great impact if your employer offers a matching gift program. Contact your company representative to see if your employer matches charitable donations.
IRS Charitable Giving ~ Individual Retirement Account (IRA) owners over age 70 and a half may make a transfer of up to $100,000 per year to qualified charities including the Allen County Museum tax free and not included in adjusted gross income. Contact your financial advisor.
Gifts of Stock ~ Stock can be transferred to the Allen County Museum. Contact your financial advisor.
Bequests & Planned Giving ~ A bequest through your will allows you to designate a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate to the Allen County Museum. It can reduce the amount of your taxable estate.
