The artifacts presented here are from the collection of the Allen County Museum & Historical Society as a part of the Ohio Presidents: Surprising Legacies exhibit. These artifacts represent an element of the campaign or presidency of each of the eight Ohio presidents, which include: William Henry Harrison (1841-1841), Ulysses S. Grant (1869-1877), Rutherford B. Hayes (1877-1881), James A. Garfield (1881-1881), Benjamin Harrison (1889-1893), William McKinley (1897-1901), William Howard Taft (1909-1913), and Warren G. Harding (1921-1923).
